KYOKUSHIN CUP 2015 2nd All UK Open Karate Tournament

  2nd-UK-open2015 Osu! Dear Shihan, Sensei, Sempai and friends KYOKUSHIN CUP 2015 – Men’s and Woman’s  Weight Division  Full-Contact Karate Tournament It’s a pleasure to invite you and your students to KYOKUSHIN CUP – Men’s and Woman’s Weight Division Full-Contact Karate Tournament  will take place on Saturday 26th September 2015 at Arc Gym, Caledonian University, Glasgow. The rules will be the International Knock Down standard competition by the rules of International Karate Organization Kyokushinkaikan. The minimum age for competitors must be over 16 years  or before the day of competition (  (with parental permission for under 18s) and competitors must be at least 10th Kyu grade to be eligible to compete. Fighters will be divided into following weight classes:

Men
Lightweight – Under 70 kg Middleweight – 70 to Under 80 kg Heavyweight – Over 80 kg
 
Woman
Under 65  kg
Over 65  kg
KATA Tournament *There will be two Kata events at the tournament: under 18 and over 18, any grade can participate.The Kata tournament will be judged using coloured flags for AKA and SHIRO, with a minimum score of three out of five. There will be three rounds, the first round will consist of a SHITEI Kata (mandatory)  and the other two rounds will be TOKUI Kata (competitor’s choice).
